This maternity session was such a dream—from bold colour and movement to soft, serene simplicity, we explored it all.
We began with a burst of drama against a vivid red backdrop. She selected a white bodycon dress from the client closet, and we paired it with a long piece of flowing fabric for that extra wow factor. With the help of her husband (who had no idea he’d be recruited for fabric-tossing duty!), we created sweeping, dynamic movement that brought the images to life. He was such a good sport, and the results were full of energy, personality, and vibrant colour.
After capturing that bold, expressive side, we transitioned to something a little more refined. We removed the tossing train and added a delicate flower crop top overlay—simple, elegant, and so striking. Set against a clean white backdrop, the monochrome look brought out all the emotion and softness of the moment.
To finish, she changed into a bodysuit and we added some soft tulle for texture and a dreamy, romantic feel. These final portraits were peaceful, intimate, and full of connection—just her, her growing bump, and the quiet excitement of what’s to come.
This session was the perfect blend of drama and grace, boldness and calm. I’m so honoured to help tell stories like this—because every season of motherhood deserves to be remembered this beautifully.
