Tea for three | Halifax baby photographer

The mid way point for our baby planners is the third session of four, typically scheduled around your baby’s 6th month (or whenever she sits up on her own). Although during the newborn session, the tiny little miracles of life are so moldable and squishy, the 6 month session has it’s own specialness too. Charlotte’s personality is starting to be more obvious, she has already gown and changed so much, and you can really see the family resemblance now. She loves to play with all of her toys, many of which were gifts from her older cousins. Some of the things she likes playing with most aren’t toys at all, but are things like Ashley’s hair, the television remote, or holding tight to her brightly coloured headband with a flower on it.

We started at Ashley and Pat’s home where we captured images in the same places as their maternity and newborn sessions, thus allowing us to show off the progression from tummy to tot. Then we went to a park nearby. As we walked up the path, we passed by a dock where there were some people fishing. The sun was low in the sky, and the light was beginning to warm. We found a nice little shaded spot under a tree, spread out a blanket, and proceeded to have a little tea party. The parasol was actually something that Ashley and Pat got for their wedding day, so it was especially wonderful to include it in their family images.
