Frequently Asked Questions

Can you describe your style?

We remember life as a string of big events; epic happenings that define our lives and live on in family stories. Weddings are no different - the main focus in wedding planning is on the defining events - the kissing of the bride, cutting of the cake, father-daughter dancing, the bouquet toss.

But what about the moments in-between?

What about the tiny, serendipitous small things that happen without planning, just from a room full of love? What about a small touch, a smiling face, a kind word - in-between the big events? These moments are what we live to capture. The moments that are often overlooked, but together make up the very emotional essence of a wedding, and of our lives.

These moments are incredibly special and so fleeting.

We strive to give them life and the importance they deserve. Moments you may not even notice at first, but look back on later in photographs and cherish.

This is our specialty, and our passion.

Do you require a retainer and a contract to book?

Yes, weddings are booked on a first come, first served bases. To hold your date, a non-refundable retainer of $1000 and an Agreement for Photography is required. The final balance for your wedding coverage will be due two weeks before your wedding.

How long until our images will be ready?

Come in for your unveiling on our digital projection screen about 60 days after your wedding.

Should we do an engagement session?

First and foremost, you should have an engagement session done because it's fun. You get to pamper yourself and dress up and -- here's the best part -- snuggle and kiss your best friend for an hour or two.

Engagement sessions also serve as prime bonding time for you both. In fact, many of the couples I photograph tell me that their engagement shoot brought them closer together, something they didn't think possible considering how much they were in love already. How's that for amazing?

There are also practical reasons for an engagement session. For example, many people use images from their engagement session for an Interactive Guest Book, Save the Dates and even Thank You Cards post-wedding. (Psst. We can totally hook you up with those extras.) Plus, it`s a really great way for us to get to know each other and for you to get used to being in front of my camera BEFORE the big day.

Do you do a First Look?

We love capturing the Bride & Groom’s “First Look” before the wedding, but if you are more of a traditional couple no worries, it’s your choice.

How many photographs do we get?

For our Signature coverage you can expect at least 500 images, for Collection Two you can expect at least 350, and for Collection Three you can expect at least 250. It is not uncommon to have more!
