Alison knows how much Ryan’s dog Flex means to him. He really is Ryan’s buddy. He loves going for walks at their favourite park, and has this adorable habit of absconding with favourite toys to hide them… including the rubber chicken I brought with me to the session. Every time we went and got it,…

It’s that time of year again, when we jump up and down and fawn over all the fur babies who come to have their photo taken with Santa. The event supports the Nova Scotia SPCA, and we volunteer our portable photolab and our time to photograph at two locations. We will be at Jolly Tails…

Ruby is a relatively new addition to Cassie and Wendy’s family, and at under a year of age, she is full of energy and doesn’t sit still much. It became apparent within the first few minutes that the bag of chopped up hotdogs Cassie brought was going to be woefully inadequate for Ruby’s continued good…

Lola is one of the sweetest pups you will ever meet. Her big brown eyes are trusting, and there is not a mean bone in her body. She is a Long Coated Akita, and she is basically an oversize teddy bear. It was really funny during her session when we attempted to get her up…

When I say bullies, I mean English Bulldogs, of course! When Lauren and I spoke on the phone about planning a session with her fur babies Wendy and Barb, it was clear to me that the girls brought joy to Lauren (and really everyone they meet). These ladies are classic beauties with lots of character….

Every year I volunteer to photograph pets with Santa at their annual fund raiser Santa Pix. Both of my cats come from the SPCA, and I know they do good work. This was really brought home to me when I had the opportunity to photograph on a ride along with one of their Special Constables…

    Nov. 27th, 2-6p: Jolly Tails – 6410 Lady Hammond Rd. *We’re photographing

    Dec. 4th, 1-4p: Petvalu – 75 Peakview Way *We’re photographing

    Dec. 11th, 1-4p: O’Regan’s KIA – 402 Windmill Rd.

It was a pleasure recently, presenting at the Sackville Photoraphy Club about how I photograph pets. Coming from a farming background in rural P.E.I., we always had animals around. My family were Border Collie breeders, and the dogs were as much a part of the family as they were working dogs. When I was small,…

I sensed right away that family is important to Jean Paul and Tanya. I get that. I feel the same. Jean Paul and his family are originally from Hantsport, Nova Scotia, but he and Tanya and their two boys now live in Alberta, and they haven’t seen some of their family here in about two…

Literally squeals of delight across the country as we shared this teaser among the family.
We are beyond thrilled with the photo of the whole family, that you have captured all of us laughing together is better than we could have imagined.
I’m already imagining where we’ll hang the pictures of the children on the beach!
Thank you Rebecca, for a great evening and for capturing this special time for our family! We can’t wait to see the rest of your work.

Tanya, I think I said this when we were planning your session, but when family comes together like this, is exactly my favourite kind of photography session! I am so happy to have been there on your last day together. Warm squishy hugs!
