Agreement for Photography
  1. TIME LINE: Usually within one week of your session we will select a couple of our favourite images and post a sneak peek for you on our blog. Two to three weeks later the rest of your images will be ready for your private screening and ordering session. Your screening can be held at your home on your flat screen television, or via a 5 day online gallery. We offer collection pricing and a la carte pricing.
  3. COPYRIGHT: All images and copyrights are the sole property of Rebecca Clarke Photographer. These images are protected by Canadian Copyright Law (all rights reserved) and may not be reproduced in any manner without written permission from me. If you purchases Digital Image Files, you have the right to print as many images as you like. For personal websites or other internet use, Low Resolution Files (included on the disk with a small watermark) must be used.
  5. PAYMENT SCHEDULE: The session fee is due upon booking. It holds your session date and is non-refundable. I accept PayPal (credit card or bank transfer), email money transfer (through your online banking), cash and cheques. You are welcome to mail a cheque for payment, but the session is not booked until payment had been received.
    All product orders must be prepaid to process the order. We do offer payment plans, but no work will be done until payment is received in full.
  7. LIMIT OF LIABILITY: If I am injured or become too ill to photograph the session, I will rebook it for an alternate time (subject to availability) at no additional cost. If you find the alternate time unsatisfactory, you may choose to cancel this agreement and receive a full refund of any fees paid.
    I take the utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation, and processing of the photographs. In the unlikely event that photographs have been lost or damaged, or are undeliverable for any reason, my liability is limited to the return of all payments made. The limit of liability for a partial loss of originals shall be a prorated amount based on the percentage of lost images from the total number of originals taken.
  9. MODEL RELEASE: I may use any of the images taken (in whole or in part) for self promotion, display, or sale. This includes but is not limited to: publication, advertisements, internet, print competitions, and educational seminars.
  11. INTIMATE PHOTOGRAPHY: Sassy Sessions are of an intimate nature and I will not show your images on my website without your express permission. Most of our clients are ok with a few of their best images being displayed on my website. Please select the appropriate check box below.

  14. COOPERATION: If you or a family member is sick, we can reschedule the session at no extra cost (subject to availability). Please inform us as soon as possible should this be the case.
    I am not responsible if key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during photography sessions or for missed images due to details not revealed to me. I reserve the right to cease service if any member of the portrait session fails to cooperate.
  16. TRAVEL:All destinations outside of a 50 km radius of downtown Halifax will incur a $0.40 per kilometre fee. If overnight stay is required, the mileage fee will be $0.65 and shall include lodging and meals. Fees for locations over 500 kilometres will be provided by quotation.
  18. Client: I have read and understood the terms above, and hereby agree to the terms of this agreement. I understand that this serves as my electronic signature and this agreement is legally binding.
