Nadine and Byron told me during our session about how cute “scrunchy nose” is, and we were not disappointed. Julia is a very happy, very cute baby!

I feel blessed to be able to get to know some fabulous families through photography.

This is my fifth session with Veronica and Nigel, and I have to say one of the cutest! We first met for their engagement photos in 2010, and then again later that year for a boudoir session and then their wedding. This year, I had the pleasure of continuing to capture their family story when Veronica called me to say that she was pregnant. I met Landon while he was still in him mommy’s tummy.
Veronica tells me that it is a Chinese tradition to celebrate the one month anniversary of their baby boy, so we got together on his milestone day.

What a special time for Jennifer and Ryan, who recently welcomed their first child into their family! Oliver was cute as a button, and as long as we kept warmed up blankets coming in between photos, he was happy as could be.

After the fun, silly, and beautiful day we had photographing Veronica and Nigel’s wedding, I knew I was in for a treat when Veronica told me she was pregnant!

Expecting mothers and their tummies are probably one of my favorite things to photograph. What really makes maternity sessions special for me, is sharing that little thrill of excitement about what is to come. There’s just something beautiful about the whole process of bringing a new life into the world.

Jazmin was one of the cutest little 5 week old babies I have ever seen! She smiled and gugled during her session, and was a delight.
The last image has a painting in the background that her mother painted while she was pregnant with Jasmin’s older brother. It was really fun to incorporate that!

Jillian and Collin did a wonderful job with their little ones during their session! Although with a running toddler, it did sometimes feel like a rodeo.
