Yuan and Yeo are getting married in September back home in China. They met at St. Mary’s University, and have been living in Halifax for about the last six years. Since the wedding will not take place here, they really wanted their engagement session to show off the Atlantic Region at it’s finest so their family could see where they live their lives now. What better place to go than Peggy’s Cove?
These two cutie pies are really interesting to talk to… they told me all about how they were going to go squid fishing at midnight in St. Margaret’s Bay after the session, they like to go to a gun range together so Yeo can polish his skills as a marksmen, and Yuan is definitely into fashion (she came with not one, but three outfits to the session). It was a pleasure getting to know them better, and they seem like they are perfect for one another.
Yuan was so sweet to share her feelings about their experience with us:
I felt a bit awkward at the beginning of the photo shoot. Yao and I have been dating for like 6 years and the status seemed changed pretty fast and I can’t believe I am actually getting married in two months. I am about to build a family. My friends yang and Claire, they recommended you to be my engagement photo photographer as I’ve been told so many good things about you when you were photo shooting their baby Joanna. When we first met, you were so kind and nice to us. It was like we’ve met somewhere before and we talked like we were close friends which haven’t seen each other for a while. During our photo shooting, there were a few moments when Yao and I were looking into each other’s eyes I can still feel the love sparkle between us. Thanks for making everything happen!!!!
I have to say, I luv luv the last photo we took at Peggy’s cove!!!! It was like a masterpiece made by you!!! So sad, I can’t really do any wedding reception in halifax otherwise I would invite you to be my wedding photographer!
All in all, I had so much fun photo shooting with you!
Wish you all the best!!!
