Erica and Colin are getting married in August at the elegant and cozy Halliburton House Inn in downtown Halifax. Since it is the perfect place for their wedding, we decided it would also be the perfect place to kick off their engagement session too.
They met on a blind date while Colin was still in college at his school’s Christmas Ball. It was kind of a chance meeting, but they hit it off. The rest, as they say, is history. They like spending time with friends, going to the movies, and spending time outdoors… just not to much time outdoors. Colin tried to get Erica to go on a hike in Cape Breton once, and they joke now about how he had to keep her going with promises of breaks and snacks. Erica is more of a hanging out at the waterfront and local parks kind of girl, than a long hike in the middle of the wilderness kid of girl. (Summer, and Beavertails at the waterfront can not come soon enough! Am I right?!! If you don’t know what a Beavertail is, you haven’t lived until you’ve tried one. Fried pasty smothered in your favourite sweet toppings like maple and chocolate, cinnamon sugar, or chocolate and bananas. Mmmmmmm!)
We had lots of fun during their session, and for two people who told me that they are not really “photo people”, I think they totally rocked it! What do you think? Comment below!
