Wet fall days | Halifax baby photography, Family photographer Halifax

It’s hard to believe how quickly time goes by! When I first met Carla & Sean, baby Alexis was still in her mommy’s tummy and now she is six months old. This was our third session of four in her Baby Plan.

The session day started out a wet one, and it rained heavily the day before. Carla and I emailed back and forth several times about weather and clothing, and we were hoping that mother nature would co-operate since we were really looking forward to taking pictures that day. Our original plan was to go back to the park near Carla & Sean’s house were we photographed their maternity session, but when Sean headed down on the morning of the session to check the place out, he sent me iPhone photos of a boggy, swampy, and wet place… not the sort of location where you could sit on the ground cuddling your baby. Our backup location ended up being The Dingle, and it was wonderful. It is sheltered there, so all of the best fall colours were still out in abundance, and it wasn’t to windy. When we started setting up, I had to laugh, because both Sean and I brought a tarp to put under blankets so we could sit on the grass. Great minds think alike!

Check out a few great moments from their session:

Rebecca, These are amazing photos. You have taken a quick glimpse in our life and captured a special moment for our family. These are the best memories that need no words as your photos say it all. Thank you.
